Carnedd Dafydd and Llewelyn ridge, Eryri (Snowdonia)
A walker and her four dogs were rescued from the ridge between Carnedd Dafydd and Llewelyn on Christmas Eve after the dogs became frightened by gale force winds and could not continue. The woman took shelter behind rocks and used a survival bag to keep warm whilst awaiting rescue. Mountain rescuers found her very cold but otherwise uninjured, and she and her dogs were safely brought down the mountain.
Outcome: walker and dogs safely rescued and brought down; casualty rewarmed with food, hot chocolate and protective clothing
