Snowdon

Two women were struck by lightning on the summit of Snowdon on 1 July 2021. One woman was found to be falling in and out of consciousness while the other sustained minor injuries. Both were evacuated to Clogwyn railway station and flown by coastguard helicopter to Bangor hospital, with rescuers reporting neither had life-threatening injuries.

Outcome: both casualties evacuated by helicopter to hospital
