A walker died from cardiac arrest while descending Tryfan on 23 August 2025, despite resuscitation efforts by mountain rescue and other walkers. The same weekend, two climbers who became stuck on the Pinnacle Rib route were rescued via technical rope rescue from a height of 100 metres and safely descended.
