Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team responded to three separate incidents on 18–19 October 2025: locating a missing person near Livingston in the early hours, assisting an injured mountain biker at Glentress trails at midday, and rescuing two walkers stranded on a remote ridge between Moffat Water and Ettrick valleys in the evening. All three callouts were resolved safely, marking the team's 48th, 49th and 50th operations of the year.

Outcome: missing person found by Police Scotland; mountain biker extracted and handed to Scottish Ambulance Service; two walkers located and extracted safe and well
