Tryfan
A hiker suffered an ankle injury while descending Tryfan mountain and became stranded. The Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation attended and arranged evacuation by coastguard helicopter from St Athan, with the casualty winched to safety on 8 May.
Outcome: casualty airlifted by coastguard helicopter and evacuated to safety
