A 73-year-old woman and her son became lost in cloud on the Glyderau in Snowdonia after weather deteriorated during their walk. Mountain rescuers from multiple teams spent nine hours locating them above Llyn y Cwm and safely escorting the exhausted mother down to the road at Nant Peris, with helicopter support standing by.

A Malamute dog named Storm suffered skinned paws on rough terrain while walking the Pyg Track on Snowdon and was carried off the mountain by Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team volunteers. Four Scouts discovered an injured walker with a lower leg injury near Bloody Bridge in the Mournes in June. A 77-year-old man from Machrie on Arran went missing on an evening walk on Tuesday 30 May, last seen near the village golf course at 18:10. Despite an extensive search involving police, Arran Mountain Rescue, RAF, RNLI and coastguard, he remained missing several days later. The man is vulnerable, requires daily medication, and has poor mobility.
An injured walker with a serious lower leg injury was rescued from the foot of Bennan Head cliffs on the Kildonan Coast. The Arran RNLI lifeboat crew located the casualty and worked with Arran Mountain Rescue Team and Coastguard to facilitate evacuation by Rescue Helicopter 999 to Crosshouse Hospital.

A walker in his late 50s died after slipping and falling down the south gully on Tryfan in Snowdonia while descending with his daughter. Two Danish students were rescued from the Cheviot Hills after becoming exhausted and cold during their first day of a planned six-month UK walking trek. Border Search and Rescue located them using mobile phone technology and escorted them to safety unharmed.
