Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Crib-y-Ddysgl ridge, Snowdon Ranger Path
Two groups of walkers required rescue from Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) on 14 September as gale force winds approached, with one group cragfast on Crib-y-Ddysgl ridge and another in difficulty on Snowdon Ranger Path. Despite yellow weather warnings and forecasts of winds exceeding 60mph, some walkers were inadequately prepared, including those wearing trainers. All parties were safely evacuated by Llanberis and Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Teams.
