Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team responded to 14 heat-related incidents on Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) over the Bank Holiday weekend in sweltering conditions. Three people were airlifted to hospital with suspected sunstroke or heat-related illness, and the team dealt with multiple falls, slips, exhaustion cases, and a near-drowning at a waterfall. The team warned walkers and dog owners about the dangers of mountain exposure during high temperatures.
