Birchen Clough, Dove Stone reservoir
A woman suffered an ankle injury while descending Birchen Clough near Dove Stone reservoir on Saturday afternoon. Oldham Mountain Rescue Team responded with ten volunteers, who assessed and immobilised the injury before transporting her down the valley for transfer to hospital ambulance.
Outcome: casualty immobilised and transported to hospital by ambulance
