Birchen Clough, near Dove Stone Reservoir
Three walkers became lost in the dark in Birchen Clough near Dove Stone Reservoir and were unable to find the path. Oldham Mountain Rescue Team was called and located the walkers, escorting them back down to the vehicles. All three were assessed by a medical technician and the incident was resolved within two hours and fifteen minutes.
