Buttermere
A 70-year-old walker from Bolton slipped and injured her knee while walking in the Buttermere area. Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team attended and assisted her to Gatesgarth, where an ambulance was met. The rescue was resolved in approximately half an hour.
Outcome: casualty assisted to meeting point with ambulance
