A farmer suffered serious injuries in a quad accident on Slieve Muck in the Mourne Mountains on 10 June 2024 and was rescued with his uninjured dog. The farmer was stabilised by emergency responders, airlifted by helicopter to an ambulance, and conveyed to hospital, while the dog was evacuated on foot by police.

A walker died after falling from the south ridge of Tryfan in Snowdonia on Friday evening, 7 June. A paraglider pilot who launched from Robinson in the Lake District went missing over the weekend and was found dead in a gill above Buttermere following a multi-agency search operation. Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team attended two incidents on 20 May 2024. First, a walker who fell at Sgwd yr Eira Waterfall with hip pain was assisted out of the gorge and taken to hospital. A hillwalker fell into a burn on a craggy slope between Aonach Mòr and Càrn Mòr Dearg after slipping on snow. Two walkers strayed from the path on High Stile in the Buttermere fells on 19 April and became cold, tired and weak as darkness fell. One casualty showing early signs of hypothermia was airlifted to safety by HM Coastguard Helicopter, while the other was brought down on foot by mountain rescue volunteers. Both walkers were reunited safely.
